Can I use AI to write my podcast content?

Yes, for the heavy lifting: structure, shaping, and turning your recording into other formats. Your ideas and opinions have to come from you, though. Ask AI to create something from nothing and you get generic content that sounds like everyone else.
I’m an AI addict. I use it every single day, and I’m not about to tell you to stop.
Two things I never hand to AI
The first is my ideas. The perspectives people associate with me, my stories, my opinions, the hill I’d happily die on. Those have to keep coming from me, 100%.
The second is relationship building. The DMs, the comments, the replies. If you’re a coach or a consultant, outsourcing that is the absolute worst thing you can do.
Where AI is brilliant
Once you’ve recorded your episode, AI can cut it, shape it and turn it into clips, posts and emails. That’s AI amplifying you, and it’s exactly what it’s good at.
Get the structure first
Sort the structure before AI writes a word. Once it’s produced something, asking it to edit usually changes the wording and leaves the shape alone. So you can go back and forth for hours and still not fix it.
Where slop comes from
Slop is what you get when there’s no human in the input. Give AI nothing of yours and it hands you back the average of everyone else.
